Michael J. DeSantis (DJ Deez) came up with DigiJ to serve as a helpful tool for anyone who has a large music collection and wants to be able to manage said collection. Professional DJs and other music enthusiasts have easy access to the music in their library with DigiJ, a media database that features Winamp integration.

Getting the installation file off the web and onto your computer will take little time seeing that the file weighs in at close to 6MB. Run this small file and you will be presented with a setup wizard that will guide you through the installation process. When you’re done with the installation and you run DigiJ for the first time, you will be invited to perform a short program configuration before you can start building a dynamic media library.

DigiJ’s colorful interface is divided into several sections. At the top, next to the image of a DJ, you have a section that allows you to perform searches and filter the search. To the left you have a section that lists the music in your library. And to the right, the bottom right, you have a section that displays more info on a selected song. Overall, this layout is not difficult to figure out; it won’t take you long to get accustomed to the application's interface.

Via the aforementioned interface, you will be able to access all the functionality DigiJ has to offer: create and manage a dynamic music library, view and edit tags, generate playlists, find more music from a particular artist, play audio tracks and enqueue them in Winamp. You have 30 days at your disposal to use DigiJ for free and evaluate the functionality the application has to offer. Once this trial period is over, you will have to get a license to keep using the application.

DigiJ does away with the nuisance of wasting time looking for your music.
